Afloat Total Waterbed

My name is Michael, I’m a 38 year old heavy equipment mechanic in Hawaii. My job is pretty hard on my body. I’m always sore and a side sleeper with pressure point problems. On an expensive name brand medium firm memory foam mattress I’d often wake up in more pain than I had before I went to bed. Even my teeth were sore from biting down hard in my sleep. I knew I needed to make a radical change or see a doctor. I asked myself when was the last time you really slept soundly? I had to really think back! I laughed to myself and said it was my waterbed back in the late 90’s early 2000’s. I thought to myself “if only waterbed’s were still available I’d probably try one again”. I kid you not a few days later I was on social media and in a group they were discussing waterbeds. Then I pulled up google and YouTube and started searching. I came across The Afloat Waterbed. I was so excited to see they offer shipping to Hawaii setup through a freight forwarding company. I placed my order on their website and within 1 minute, I kid you not. I received a call from Kim who works for Afloat and she was an absolutely wonderful, kind person to work with getting me setup with everything I needed. We talked for quite awhile (it was like talking to a friend) and both agreed a waterbed will be very good at easing my pain and giving me proper support. Kim got the order shipped for free to the freight forwarder from their factory. I just had to pay for the second leg of the shipping by ship to Hawaii. (It was very reasonably priced so that was nice) It took some time to arrive in Hawaii. During that process Kim checked in and kept an eye on every step of the delivery. Bed arrived at my door in perfect condition and the build quality was top notch! It was easy to assemble and fill thanks to the kit that came with the Total model bed I ordered. This thing is so much nicer than my old waterbed from the 90’s I had (I highly recommend the firm mattress pad). I feel like I’m 10 years younger. I no longer have any pain and I’m sleeping deeper and more sound. I wake up feeling refreshed with much more energy. Being a side sleeper this bed has changed my life for the better. I’ll never go back to a traditional mattress. The people at Afloat treat you like family and actually have an amazing product. I’m so happy, I’m more productive now and actually look forward to going to bed at night and getting a good night's sleep. Thank you Afloat and your team for making this happen all the way out here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. You guys rock and have a customer for life!

We LOVE our Afloat king bed. It’s so comfortable that I miss it terribly when I travel. Regular sheets fit and it looks just like a normal bed. The customer service is the best, 5 stars! We’ve only needed them when our questions were due to too many family members trying to be the boss. Get one, you won’t regret it!

My Afloat waterbed it great. It's very comfortable. The set up is pretty straight forward and doesn't take too long. I had an issue with the zipper handle but contacted the company and Kim got it taken care of promptly and efficiently. I highly recommend the AFLOAT waterbed.

I am an athlete, and nothing is more important than rest and recovery. When I started sleeping on an Afloat Waterbed I noticed an improvement in sleep quality. I attribute this to 1) Reduced pressure points 2) Precise temperature control 3) Better spinal alignment. Waking refreshed and rejuvenated is such a delight! I couldn’t be more pleased.

We love our new afloat waterbed. I don’t toss and turn during the night anymore. I used to wake up stiff and sore with pain in my hip and shoulder but not anymore! And love the temperature control. My husband and I can set our own temperature for comfort. I am sleeping deeper than I ever have before. It’s awesome!

If you Google the term – Customer Service- your picture appears and your name is in the definition. Afloat is fortunate to have you on their team. Considering the issues we had encountered, you and the Afloat folks really shined. I do love my bed. I don’t see it as a bed , I see it as an everyday therapy. Having had waterbeds, I cant think of anything that is missing. ( I like the space saver function, if the frame were only an inch or 4 taller , a standard tote would slide easily underneath and the soft sides would accommodate entry and exit.) I am sure that the comfort , rest, and relaxation with my Afloat bed will continue for the rest of my days. Best purchase I made in many, many years!
