Limited Manufacturer’s Waterbed Warranty

What is this?

Your new AFLOAT waterbed (the “Product”or “Waterbed”) purchased from Hall Flotation LLC (“Hall Flotation”) - maker of Afloat, The New Waterbed - is protected by a 20-year limited manufacturer’s warranty (“Limited Warranty” or “Warranty”). This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects in your Waterbed, including faults in materials or manufacturing defects. This Warranty explains your specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state. This Limited Warranty is valid only to the original purchaser (may also be referred to as “you” or “Customer”), either from a Hall Flotation retail partner (a “Partner”) or directly from Hall Flotation and is not transferable. You must provide a copy of your receipt to prove that you purchased the Mattress.

What do You Need to Keep?

Attached to every Waterbed is a law tag that includes a warranty code number. If you remove this tag, keep it with your receipt, as both will be required for warranty coverage. An example is below:

No expressed or implied warranties are extended to people who purchase the product from anyone other than Hall Flotation or its Partners, and all warranties to you, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness, are hereby excluded.

Carefully inspect your Waterbed and all of the components, hardware, and parts upon receipt and inform Hall Flotation or the Partner immediately if you have any concerns.

How long does this Warranty last?

The term of this Warranty begins upon the purchase of your AFLOAT. Replacement of any or all components of the Waterbed does not extend this limited warranty or begin a new limited warranty period. This Warranty will no longer be valid after 20 years from the purchase date of your AFLOAT for all components, except the box foundation, which will be valid for 1 year from the purchase date. The duration of any applicable implied warranties, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchandise and fitness, shall not exceed the term of this limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations of how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.

What happens if you make a claim under this Warranty?

To receive service under the terms of this warranty contact Hall Flotation at 1 (844) 4-AFLOAT or info@afloatsleep.com or the Partner you purchased your Waterbed from. A copy of original bill of sales is needed to determine original date of purchase and the law tag is needed to provide you with the proper parts.

If your Waterbed fails due to manufacturing defect, the exclusive remedy under this warranty will be repair or replacement (as applicable) of the defective Waterbed or the component. The decision to replace or replace a Waterbed or the individual defective component shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of Hall Flotation or the Partner. If the Waterbed you purchase is discontinued at the time of replacement and the components are not available to replace the defective component, a current model of comparable quality and value will be selected to replace your Waterbed, to be selected at Hall Flotation’s or the Partner’s discretion, or you may opt to upgrade to a more expensive Waterbed. If you opt to upgrade your Waterbed at this time, you may be required to pay the price difference between the original Waterbed and the more expensive Waterbed. If you receive a repaired or replaced Waterbed or components, you are subject to the same term as the original Warranty.
